Chiloe #3

We ended up taking a tour today to Chiloe National Park, but no English tours were available, so we struggled to understand Spanish and to be understood. We didn't get to see the penquins, sadly. I guess the many we saw in South Africa in 2017 will have to do.
We drove west through some beautiful hilly country and along several rivers.
We enjoyed hiking in the national park on the west coast of the island and seeing the Pacific Ocean.
We climbed up the steps of a wooden tower for a view above the tree tops.

A delicious lunch was included in the full day tour. Seafood empanadas for starters, and of course, bread!😊
We ended up at a "lake for lovers".  We never really understood what the significance of that particular lake was for lovers.  But we got our picture taken anyway.❤
Tomorrow is a travel day, heading towards Torres del Paine National Park, where we'll be for three full days, without Wifi!
